An interesting perspective regarding the Assault Weapon Ban

 

 While reading tonight: (Attributed to "JetGirl" on RimfireCentral Forum...)

You know, here’s what doesn’t make sense to me... This ban wants to renew a limit that restricts magazines to 10 rounds because the writers say it will cut down on gun related fatalities. BUT, in ’94 (the year it initially passed), the firearms traced to most gun crimes were:

Lorcin P25 (7 rounds)
Davis Industries P38 (5 rounds)
Raven Arms MP 25 (6 rounds)
Lorcin L25 (7 rounds)
Mossberg 500 (5 rounds)

NONE of these has ever had a 10 round mag designed for it, to my knowledge. Also, none of these qualify to be banned under the descriptions of either AWB...
